Pirate Poppers
Pirate Poppers is a very very good 5 star ball shooter.
Cannon balls in this case is your weapon to shoot targets that roll on the track.
Since the game is pirate themes. This one makes sense. Pirates shoot cannons, they get treasure and they store it away.
The music is well orchrestrated.
There are both the
Puzzle and
Adventure mode. Puzzle mode is good for those times that you don't want to race against the clock but enjoy the game. Puzzle mode also allows you a chance to learn a little about the strategy of removing as many of the targets effeciently.
The adventure mode has a variety of tracks and follows many of the standared rules for this type of game...with powerups and special effect items to collect.
For those of you who feel the need to play very challenging games, there is an
Arcade mode which feeds the targets much quicker on the track.
So, there are modes for most type of game players - from relaxed to panicked.
The
graphics are outstanding. The demo went by quickly and remained quite enjoyable.
