  • Kenny's Adventure Game Demo Review
    • Known Problems
      • During game play of Kenn's Adventures your system may shut down.
      • Upon restarting A message appeared on my desktop and all my theme settings were gone. Unfortunately, if you click the "button"to restore the screen - you get a notice telling you that Internet Explorer cannot run the scripts on it's own application. Selecting yes to continue running scripts on the message box does NOT Work.
      • Close all files before trying this demo.
        • No files were damaged but open applications like notepads and graphic programs were closed without saving information.
        • Programs with auto retrieve and periodic saves like Open Office can restore any closed files
      • The solution is to right click on your desktop. Select properties. Select the themes tab. Pick a different theme from your list. Click apply. The desktop message page goes away. Reselect your current theme. Click Apply. Wahlah!! you have your desktop back. I will check into the matter and find out what needs to be done to run the games for longer than 15 minutes. Otherwise it would be a 5 star game. Check back to see if information has been updated. A notice will be posted when the problem is resolved.
      • This is the only game that I have ever encountered a active desktop recovery message

          • There may be a conflict with screen savers – by extending the time before starting your screen savers you get longer play sessions

      • Graphics

        The game has fantastic 3 D characters and effects. The graphics are stunning.

        • Your diving character, gems, under water creatures, bubbles, and background all have very high quality and detail

        • Character movement is realistic especially swimming

        • The pre game story is nicely illustrated also

        • Animation at the end of each level is nicely done

        • The levels are a lot like the “Sonic the Hedgehog” with winding underground sections and extra things to collect in areas not needed to complete the level.

        • Where “sonic” moves extremely fast “Kenny” swims very slow – a neat twist

        • There are store progress points (which disappear when the computer shuts down of course)

      • Game Controls

        • You can either use the mouse or keyboard for character movement.

          • The mouse moves your character

          • Left click to jump

          • Right click to throw stones

          • Hold left to swim especially after jumping.

          • See the game for exact keyboard controls if that is your choice

        • If you have played games like "Cheebo Man” (which is keyboard only) “Mario” or “Sonic the Hedgehog” on your computer you will appreciate the fact that you only need a mouse

  • If you try this demo – please close all other applications and make sure your work is saved. Scroll down for repair information if you try this demo

  • It is easy to control the character

  • Finishing the first two levels seems suitable for all age groups

  • No information is available for increasing difficulty because I had to discontinue the demo after two computer Shut down

  • Overall it is a very .enjoyable game

• If you haven't replaced all the original scores that were on the game when you first got it, then you really haven't beaten the game. If you can't beat your own scores then you haven't improved. Now you can still play a game again – not beat the scores and still have fun. The object is to enjoy yourself. You don't need an extra hard challenge to smile. challenge to smile.

• Life is about challenges and growth. Knowing when to push forward and when to move on is something we each must learn.

• Download Shape Shifter a great game with NO problems

An excellent photo organizer that works on most systems is Picassa. I actually had it installed on a system with only 256 memory in 2005 and it worked just fine. I do recommend it highly. It will find all the photos on your system and give you a variety of viewing options. If you have an extremely large number of photos on your system it will take a while to build the database but is totally worth it. So install it when you are taking a break from computer usage so the program can help you find your photos. This will permit you to store photos in places other than just “my Pictures.
