Shape Shifter is a game I immediately liked. You are fed lines of rows with shape cutouts. On your conveyor belt you are provided the shapes. It is a about matching & shape recognition. Logic and stategy come into play since the order of placement and line removal does effect youir ability to complete the tasks in the allotted time.Actually, I don't get to improve my skill level too much, because, my time is limited. It is really hard to beat my score from the "first time played. As compared to online scores I do terrible. But, I still enjoy the game for short breaks and don't feel committed. The music is unique and it doesn't bother me at all. You can really like some game music and still find it impossible to play the game with the same tune playing over and over and over again. This is an exception. I have no trouble at all with the music, never find my self lunging for the option box to turn it off. I think games that you feel extremely comfortable with should be part of your game library. You don't have to play them every day. But, you know that if you need a short break and a smile you can visit one of your favorites. It takes a little self dicipline to decide in advance : when the game ends you turn it off. Sure some people are looking for games that are addictive. I don't like the whole concept of being "addicted" to anything. If you only get games that are addictive then you can never take a short game break in your busy schedule without being dissapointed when you have to quit. For your youngsters save the long marathon sessions for the weekendsLet them know in advance the time limit for a particular game if you have things planned like dinner or bed time. It is also important if you share a computer to teach self dicipline and reservation.
